Venus Conjunct South Node (10/3): Releasing Old Routines

With the Venus–South Node conjunction, we’re gifted an opportunity to release routines rooted in old family habits or traditions that no longer serve us. Mercury in the 4th house with the Sun—mutually receiving Venus in Virgo—suggests our decisions, actions, and communications now are well-received and ultimately beneficial for everyone involved. This moment calls for refreshing routines and, for some, even revamping professional environments.
These shifts align with the broader karmic cycles of the North Node and Saturn in Pisces, encouraging us to step into a new personal and collective chapter. Jupiter conjunct the Ascendant in the 1st house reminds us that expansion often comes through unexpected opportunities. This month, especially as Venus trines Uranus and Pluto in mid-October, doors will open that restore balance and harmony where there’s been disruption. The key is welcoming these gifts with grace.
Mars Trine North Node (10/15): Transforming with Courage

On 10/15, Mars trines the North Node and sextiles the South Node. This builds on the earlier Venus–South Node themes of transformation. Mars brings more intensity here—perhaps even friction—as Jupiter squares Chiron and the Sun, stirring emotional overwhelm. But this discomfort is meant to push us toward growth and stronger foundations in all areas of our lives.
Venus in the 6th house, trining Pluto in the 10th and Uranus in the 1st, directs attention toward balancing routines, health, and work-life structures. The support we receive from our communities, careers, and relationships will affirm these changes. Meanwhile, Uranus and Pluto continue to trine and sextile Neptune throughout the month, sending sparks of inspiration that guide us to deliver messages of change without divisiveness.
Challenges may arise from guilt or old wounds (Sun in Libra opposing Chiron in Aries), rooted in family or systemic patterns. When these feelings surface, acknowledge them, thank them for the role they’ve played in survival, and gently remind yourself—it’s safe to move forward.
Mars Trine Jupiter + Saturn (10/28–10/29): Sealing the Shift

By the end of the month, Mars trines Jupiter (10/28) and then Saturn (10/29). This is a beautiful and powerful energy to ground all the inspirations we’ve received into lasting change. It’s a moment of sealing progress with no turning back. From here, the remainder of the year is about emotional recalibration as we align with the new karmic cycle.
With Mars conjunct Lilith in Scorpio, it’s also a potent time to release self-defeating habits that inflate the ego and diminish presence. Mars, in harmony with Neptune, Saturn, and Jupiter, offers opportunities to download new values, philosophies, or even heightened consciousness directly from the universe. This energy is both empowering and transformative—inviting us to become containers strong enough to hold the discomfort of change. Mars will keep activating Chiron in Aries until 2027, teaching us how to alchemize discomfort into wisdom and life-affirming growth.
Summary + Conclusion: Trust the Process of Change
So overall, the theme for this month is all about becoming a strong vessel for change. Venus asks us to let go of outdated routines while Mars pushes us to act with courage. Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto keep reminding us that expansion comes when we trust change without expectations.
Yes, old wounds may resurface—but they do so to show us what’s ready to be healed. Each shift we make in our routines, partnerships, and mindsets ripples outward, benefiting not just ourselves but our larger communities. To better help all of us align to change, I also did a collective family constellations for the Wise-Star community. You can find it here on my family constellations blog.
By the end of the month, we’re anchored in a stronger, more harmonious direction. October isn’t about easy shifts—it’s about priming our routines that would carry us well into the future. Stay open, stay flexible, and most importantly—trust that every shift forward, even the uncomfortable ones, is aligning you with a more authentic and expansive version of yourself.
Love and Blessings🌸🩷
