Star-Weather Forecast: May 2025, Lean into the Uncomfortable

In May we have a period of reprieve around the whirlwind of changes and activities that we have all been experiencing. The reprieve isn't about the frenzy stopping, but that we have simply gotten used to the pace of change, and our headings are much more apparent to us that we are more emotionally settled into anticipating and even welcoming the evolutionary progression.
There is no long-form video this month. You can click below to see the summary clip or read on:
Continuing with the flowerbed analogy from last month, we've gotten notices to sign the lease at the community garden, attend informational and training sessions, and we are now well underway in conducting repairs and prep work for the flower bed. In May, we continue this trajectory with good results.
Here is a short list of astrological events this month:
5/2 Venus-Neptune conjunction
5/4 Pluto Retrograde
5/6 Mercury-Chiron conjunction
5/10 Mercury ingress Taurus
5/15 Jupiter-NN-SN square
5/17 Sun-Uranus conjunction
5/20 Sun ingress Gemini
5/22 Venus-Mars trine
5/24 Sun-Pluto trine
5/24 Mercury-Uranus conjunct
5/24 Saturn ingress Aries

First, the Venus-Neptune conjunction in Aries on 5/2 brings us practical and actionable steps toward realizing our dreams and with perceivable results in the 10th house of our professional and social reputation. The last two Venus-Neptune conjunctions in Pisces on 2/2 and 3/27 gave us the creative vision and downloads of grace and compassion to instill into the world. And now, the Venus-Neptune conjunction in Aries looking to Mars in Leo 2nd brings empowerment and courage to take some risks (potentially financial or resource-related) to boost the progress of change. And the risks taken can bring wondrous results and recognition from our communities and network circles as Mars look to Sun and Uranus in Taurus 11th, and they look back to Venus 10th. Together with Moon in Cancer 1st house, this is a time to FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY and when TAKING RISKS would be recognized and admired. Not that we need the admiration, it's just a boon from above to encourage the shifts.

As Jupiter moves to square the Nodes and form a grand square with the Moon on 5/15, we have an opportunity to face and cut through our deep-seated and potentially karmic limiting beliefs. Notice where we want to stay comfortable in our long-established routines (SN in Virgo 6th looking to Mercury Taurus 1st), and use the expansive energies of Jupiter to progress toward the NN in Pisces 12th, which has been all about birthing a new set of evolutionary mission and direction into this world. WE WILL NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE, so stop expecting a return to the comfort zone. The reprieve is in being able to ride along with the changing winds and tides and sail through them knowing we are flowing with life's intentions. Uranus in trine/sextile with SN/NN April through May and the Sun-Uranus conjunction 5/17 gives us a great boost of self-empowerment and personal-leadership to boldly-go where we have never gone before. We let go of karmic cycles/patterns/beliefs and become the central authority of our lives.

Finally, as Saturn ingress Aries 5/24 (it will retrograde on 7/12 and go back into Pisces 9/1) right as Sun trines Pluto and Venus trines Mars, we see the beginnings of a new routine that is based on new values and new paradigms that bring power and authority to a harmonious equilibrium between the masculine and feminine. Make no mistake, Saturn is work, and consistent and sometimes laborious practice, so even given this auspicious indication that we are indeed on the path of evolutionary change, it does not mean we stop the work. Back to the flowerbed analogy, we continue to plow, fertilize, and break a sweat literally and metaphorically wherever necessary to further our progress.
Overall, what we are getting in May is having had our systems already jolted into a rude awakening in the previous months, and we now have our sea legs and know what to expect as we keep sailing toward the new coordinates (Neptune-NN conjunction 2/22). And our reward by the end of the month is some form of public acknowledgement that we are on the right track, and some ease in being able to integrate our efforts into a new routine and even automation that helps us with efficiency and practicality so we can use our energy more effectively.
So continue on the adventure of change and LEAN INTO THE UNCOMFORTABLE. With Neptune and Saturn transiting through Aries, we are pioneering the new and not looking back. So fear not, and sail into the wind!
Until next month, Namaste ❤️
